Bio
The Prayers take their cues from the girl-groups of the early '60's, the Britpop of the mid-60's, first wave New York punk, Motown and the jangly pop of the US and UK's mid-80's underground. They have released their debut EP "God Save The Prayers" in the US and already taken their energetic show all around the states and across the UK in 2007. Previously, members of the band have toured the world from 2002-2006 as founding members of The Plot To Blow Up The Eiffel Tower, Some Girls, and Lion Fever.

Back from the UK and tired, but it was great and big news ahead.
We are excited, going to In The City (http://www.inthecity.co.uk) in Manchester, UK and then going down to London for 5 days of shows. The shows so far are great, and will be up on the Calender very soon.

Very good music. Great mix of influences and original-ness. Can't wait to hear some more (and ready to buy some when you mark it for sale).
